Windows 10 KB5036892 update is available for the versions 22H2 and 21H2. This is part of April 2024 Patch Tuesday Update, Advance Windows 10 Build 19045.4291. This update add option to use Windows Spotlight as your desktop wallpaper, To turn on this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Background > Personalize your background. Choose Windows Spotlight.

Windows 10 KB5036892 also rolling out sports, traffic, and finance content on the lock screen. To turn on this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Lockscreen.

Also When you sign in, you might see a message that invites you to upgrade to Windows 11. This message only appears if your device is eligible for an upgrade.

Well Microsoft noted that this feature might not be available to all users because it will roll out gradually.

In addition to above features today's update also bring several bug fixes and improvements that include.

  • This update affects Windows Hello for Business. IT admins can now use mobile device management (MDM) to turn off the prompt that appears when users sign in to an Entra-joined machine.
